It is a law that recognizes and applies to both civilian and military use of nuclear things. It regulates that the use of atomic energy will only improve the public welfare, increase the standard of living, make free competition in private enterprise better and promote world peace. The Atomic Energy Act also allows private industry to generate nuclear power plants in order to provide electricity for the public ("Atomic Energy" 2007).
